These puppies are over wound. These are pure string suckers!
The normal output on these pickup's is 10k. I wind them with Enamel wire and they sound like a cross between a HOT Tele and a Ole' Humbucker. I made a set for a Fellow in Nashville
He asked if I could make a set with a little less output, He said "They sound too much like Jeff Beck" ( How can anything sound TOO MUCH like Beck ??) . Anyway I love em'. $85 .00 each

This pickup is High output , the output on this model is around 7.k~7.5k. I have been making pickups like this for shops on the east coast where players are looking for a real HOT Single coil sound. As with the other single coils I make this pickup has ALNICO sand cast magnets , and the pickup is aged.
